Experienced Practitioner Pathway
The Experienced Practitioner Pathway is for dentists who are already experienced in implant dentistry.
Delegates on the Experienced Practitioner Pathway will satisfy the Module 4 (Clinical Cases) requirements by submitting Case Reports of 6 cases that they have personally treated.
Delegates on the Experienced Practitioner Pathway must:
- have had at least 2 years of experience in implant dentistry
- have previously treated at least 20 implant cases
Delegates on this pathway are exempt from Module 2 and therefore do not attend the Preclinical Practical Skills Week.
TERM 1 (September - December)
Start date: 22 September 2025
Module 1: Patient Assessment, Diagnosis & Treatment Planning (online delivery). 15 credits
Module 2: Exempt. 15 credits
Module 3: Implant Prosthodontics and Occlusion (online delivery). 15 credits
Module 6: Clinical Cases Reports: deadline 30 June 2026. 15 credits
This 60 credit program requires a total of 600 notional hours of study.
After successful completion the accredited Level 7 Certificate in Implant Dentistry is awarded
